No Derrick plourde was the drummer who originally recorded this track . He died , Raun replaced him .

Actually Plourde left the band in 1996 and Feelings came out in 1998, so Raun recorded it.

It's usually referred to as the heel toe technique. Loads of info on it online.

There's the "heel/toe" technique or the "slide" technique. Kye uses the slide method (as do I). Seems that most punk drummers use the "slide" method. If you want more of a double bass sound, heel/toe is usually used.

*1st time here!! Wow. Nice job bro. Im betting the boys would enjoy this also. Not sure if you read these post but today you get the inside scoop. I have never told this story in public but here is the fast version. While i was managing a skate and surf shop in SB, i had a chance run in with a Sony executive. I had no idea who he was at the time. He was shopping and asked me about my favorite music. Basically i told him about my friends the Wagon. He asked his daughter if she knew the group to which she told him it was her brother "Johnnys favorite band" also. He asked her if he had the cd to show him? So presumably he checked the music out and later made the TH2 deal for the song that millions would come to love. All from a litte punk band from SB. Ps. I apologize to Flip at the time because we have a kind of rule about not talking about the band. Lol. He joked to me that "maybe they would sell out and be rich than." I will probably apologize for telling this story publicly also. Lol Crazy how time flys. Punk on to every one. Throw your horns in the air for the Lagwagon!!!
