00:47 Where do those high-hat 16ths notes come from-- followed by the off-beat snare/symbol hits? What signature are we playing, here? What music are we playing, here? Don't get me wrong... it's perfect and sounds amazing! But I just can't wrap my head around the fact that some 20-year-old Punk Rocker from California came up with that pattern. It's pro-level shit which, I guess is why... this is a hall of fame, world-class band.

I’m going to be brutally honest as a drummer. There’s no cymbal in Love Me Do. There’s no drumming in And I Love Her. Again, with the cymbal in You Can’t Do That. Ringo actually used a cardboard box on top of his snare for I Don’t Want To Spoil The Party, but we’ll let that slide. The hi hat is hit way too aggressively for Yes It Is. He didn’t play the snare and floor tom for the 8th notes at the beginning of Help. Ringo indeed didn’t play any drums in Yesterday, but Ringo did play drums for it on their Germany tour, which could’ve been played here. There’s no open hi hat in the verses of Day Tripper (same thing for We Can Work It Out and Drive My Car). There’s no hi hat being played during the “rain” or “shine” parts in Rain. Why even play anything at all in Eleanor Rigby? There’s no hi hat in Yellow Submarine (a mistake that lots of people make). There’s no 16th notes on the hi hat in Got To Get You Into My Life, only 8th notes (I know, it’s tempting). He played the wrong fill for Strawberry Fields Forever. There’s no open hi hat during the chorus in Penny Lane. No ghost notes and a wrong fill in A Day In The Life. Where the heck did this person get the idea to play 16th notes on Baby You’re A Rich Man from? No hi hat in Lady Madonna. No hi hat in While My Guitar Gently Weeps. No open hi hat in The Ballad of John and Yoko. Ringo plays the actual ride cymbal, not the bell part for Come Together. I can see that with only a high tom and floor tom, playing the fill correctly is impossible, so I’ll let that slide as well. For Something, he’s hitting the snare too hard. He’s playing the wrong thing for the solo in The End, but to use the snare as a third tom instead? That’s a sacrilege. A mistake in the transition from The End to Let It Be when he plays the snare twice. No cymbal crescendo and decrescendo at the end of The Long And Winding Road. Everything else is good.
