I caught them last month in Cambridge, Mass. Amazing setlist--a great mix of deep cuts and classics. Everyone in the band sounded super tight too as reflected in this clip. This crowd should have shown a bit more signs of life!

My friend somehow talked his way into security allowing us onto Lagwagon's bus in the mid 90s after a show and we smoked a joint with Flippin. When I met him, he introduced himself as "Hi, I'm Chris" and shook my hand as if I didn't know who he was. All these dudes are super genuine and down to earth. We talked about music and he asked me about what guitar I played and how long I'd been playing, my band, what I listened to, etc. Never once talked about himself or Lagwagon. Absolute ZERO fucking ego.

My step dad told me I should have mentioned one of my bands, but I was too in the moment and wanted to tell Joey that they played my favorite song of theirs that night which is Never Stops and he thought that was cool. I could tell our kind words meant a lot to him and he was making us laugh cracking jokes and it was a wholesome experience. Made me love Lagwagon even more
