I am devastated. We have forever lost beautiful Lahaina. I lived there for several years and loved every moment of it. My heart goes out to the many wonderful people of Lahaina trying now to piece their lives together after the worst possible event to hit this exceptional town. ❤😢

I went there on my honeymoon and would go sit in the banyan tree each day. I love that tree so much and the sounds of all the birds. I actually went to say goodbye to it when we had to return home : ( I hope to see it again some day. It was just magical!

If you're into whale watching, this is one of the Best places on earth. You can see them best in the channel between Maui and molokai by helicopter, or up close (er) on a whale-watching boat trip out of Lahaina.
