Lahori Chikar Cholay - Oil/Ghee is not used in this Lahori chanay recipe

Apki recipe se chole banaye, bachpan ke chole wale ke jaisa taste mil gaya. Mene kam se kam 1000 bar try kia apki recipe se pehle. Mein delhi se hun aur dada pardada Lahore se. Aajkal india me recipe badal gai hai, wo hi pyaj tamatar lasan adrak lashan ka syapa. Koi aamchur dalta hai koi imli, chole barbad ho jate hain. Pehli bar theek apki recipe try kari par chole theek se gale nahi ( sara khel toh channa quality ka hai) doosri bar meetha soda ke saath pakaya air thoda jeera bhi roast kiya. Ab toh mera plan hai ke bachpan ke chole wale ko apne hath ke chole taste karaue air batau usko dekh maine bhi bana liye. Mujhe ab yakeen hai ke uske father bhi Lahore se aye aye honge. Bhai - I am truly impressed. As an Indian, I sometimes come across Pakistani food channels. Although they seem to make delicious food, I am always put off by the loads of oil and ghee they dunk into their cooking. I could never have imagined that there can be such food items in Pakistan which are completely oil-free and extremely healthy. Watching your preparation, it seems that this is an authentic and original peasant food of the Punjab region. Like good peasant food all over the world, it is simple and cheap, healthy and nutritious, and makes a hearty meal. Keep it up, bhai!

Fun fact: chikar stems from Chikar with the consonant 'ळ" Punjabis (both side), Gujjars, Rajputs and Marathi use it rolling the tongue, so, it's pronounced as chika-r(rolling the R sound that wretched, write words would! It's just indigenous to India and Pakistani speakers and that in just a few pockets of lingual groups here. Baaqi, aapki marzi, thought to share that as I love learning languages.
