I think a gas-powered bike versus a electric bike race would be fantastic to watch. One race should be a 1-mile sprint and the other race should be a 100-miles marathon to see where it stacks up.

13:59 It seems all these ebike controls will not stand the test of time. My bike frome 1980 still exists. IMO these novel smart-bikes probably have a half life of 2 years , the companies go out of business, so much for anti-theft. If the smart bike e-bike makers made their products to use self-hosted open source controls, then maybe they may out live their novel existance.
