I read most of the comments and while i agree with most of yall, here's my take: you dont compare great art. Great art is just that, great. Talent and genius will always recognise talent and genius and all those great DJ's yall mentioned all have great respect for one another. Its not about who's the best. At the end of the day, these guys make people dance their asses off and forget their problems for that hour or so that they perform. I tip my hats to them all! NUFF respect!!!

@streaker9 answer: he looped the track and he pressed a hot cue buttom (even if you can't see the bottom in this camera position..), he always prepare with some cue point for his live sets, this trick is a part of his mixing technique called hot cue mixing.. The new pioneer CDJ 2000 decks can read the tracks with its cue points and also with its own loop parts. Please dont ask stupid questions if you dont know anything at all about the topic...

Does anyone know how to do that trick at 9:02-9:03 where he makes the kick double I've tried putting it on echo but I'm not sure how to do it. If anyone knows what it's called or how to do it I'd appreciate it.

@assais i'm not a scratch dj either, i play tech house and techno, but i prefer the feel of turntables. Well, usually in clubs you are higher up than the audience so they don't really see what you're playing on. As long as the mixing is good and the music is good, then you'll be fine. People who aren't familiar with dj set ups usually believe a big set up with plenty of lights is a good set, but people that know what mixing is about will listen to your mixing and judge you form your setup!

@trickieraver90 cue the echo on a kick, the actual echo itselff should be in the middle on the effects screen, have the echo all the way off when the actual song is playing, then turn up the echo quickly while you pull down on the fader simultaneously

Get's the 2nd track up into the mix within seconds of starting, rides the pitch slider as he goes. Gets three CDJs in the mix. Great stuff. The bit around 14 minutes when the sample is a bit all over the place is the only thing could be described as "bad" in my opinion and I'm prepared to forgive him because it's so much more entertaining and adventurous that a lot of the other mixes.

@TommieWildeDj another thing: if you dont know what is cue..you can set cue points and the decks can read it on the decks. You dont need to know where is the drop if you have a cue point, you just have to save the cue point before the set..and in the right time..press the cue bottom. thats all for today. lesson is over.
