Clicked on this and thought "This can't be the same one I watched when I was a young man, could it?" Then I see that it was uploaded 15 years ago. It is. Another night of panic at the speed of time and it's relentless assault on my psyche. How in that 15 years since I last watched this so many people I love and care about have died. The years pass so fast, but the mind never really changes. I still see myself as that young man, that young man with hopes and dreams for the future. A future that once felt like it was laid out before me, damn near endless. Now how long do I have to finally do the things I've always wanted to do? Not as long as I did then. Decades wasted dreaming about doing instead of doing my dreams. If for some reason you are reading this, don't let your dreams, just be dreams. Seriously, make that art that you always wanted to make. Try for that job. Just do it. Even if you fail, at least you can look back and see that you tried. Thanks to the internet and technology, now, there are so many things available to people to not just help you get started, but help you accomplish your dreams. The world will tell you, make you feel, like everything is out of your reach, but you will never know if you don't try. Please for your future self just try. Failure is always on the table, but at least you tried. At least you did your best. At least you didn't waste your life and disappoint those who believed in you. Even if you don't have anyone believing in you at this moment, try. Because the fact that you dream is enough to show that you, at the very least, believe in yourself. Then maybe one day we can all meet in that digital gay bar.
