hi amber :) i've seen peers use "absence" over "lack of" to minimize negative connotations or misunderstandings of what ace is; it can potentially contribute to the perception and stigma that ace people are lacking a norm in a negative sense. I really appreciate how you (two) redirected and embraced laith's thoughts to his ace experience, I personally expected it to be overshadowed or ignored after 2 seconds. Somehow i feel like we won just a lil bit today~ :)

Man I identify with this so much. Like I feel the same way. The hurt and confusion over the years just really made me not want to be with anyone for a long time and then I literally felt forced to be in this box while still not being able to fully understand what my sexuality was or what I wanted out of a relationship.

Well, I never would have guessed that he was born in a woman's body. I would be very interested to know more about the asexuallity aspect and how that works with the testosterone, I'm cis so I don't know how any of it works but I've heard that testosterone raises sexual arousal. Having to have the uterus and ovaries removed seem to drastic. I am not saying that Laith is wrong for living what he believes is his truth. There people whose brain chemistry is one of the opposite sex,but the body is not. I understand hermaphrodites (intersex) as they prefer to be called now. People with both male and female genitals. I know in very rare cases that a woman maybe born with a penis,a man a vagina. There are cases where a biological male has XX chromosomes, which is female, female has XY chromosomes, which is male. There are other sexual anomalies. For the most part these are rare occurrences. I believe that in 99.9%, of the time most people are just confused,or curious. Not all of these people are this way. However,if this is the way most of them want to live, it's between them and God. We all must answer to him one day. Including me for the wrong and right that I do in this life.
