Lakai have always been awesome, also most of the shoes (regardless of brand) will lose the "new shoe feel" after 2 weeks, so nothing different than other shoes in this aspect.

Lakai Griffins are my all time favorite skate shoes. And the new editions they just came out with wit the collaboration with Girl they put an Ollie patch over the seam on the outside which for me was the biggest problem now they hold their shape longer and with some shoo goo or super glue they hold up way longer. LAKAI OR DIE
