Ben another great vid. I'm currently skating in the Sheffield's as well (same colorway too) and they really are a great shoe. Very very sticky out of the box but they feel so great so quickly. I keep missing you when you make it over to Vic. That play "adult" life thing always pulling time away but I will try to stay on top of your posts and see if I can catch you over here one time. Looking forward to meeting and skating with you. Stay strong brother and keep the amazing content coming. Always motivates my 33 year old self to stay sharp!

Footage looks really good on the bigger ledge! The backside tail side looked fresh! Should do the backside tail side kickflip to fakie out that used to be my favorite trick in the early to mid 2000s

Any Lakai whit that sole is my best choice since 2 years! Best shoes! and it's easy to find them for cheap! Every time i try another company, there always a problem (to big, not true to size etc...)

Went through a pair of these. He’s right, they wear pretty quick, but they feel great. Found a pair on sale on Amazon a ways back. I found the New Ports to be similar but last longer. Love Lakai

Search For The Truth this is late but the best thing to do is an ice cube. Shoe goo is water resistant so it’s super easy to mold it to the shoes with ice

Do you find these shoes are too low cut? I have a pair and when I'm skating in shorts the nose of my board is cutting up the top of my ankle on my front foot when I Ollie. Guess it's pants with these.

I picked up a pair of Lakai Griffin's a while back and the laces were RIDICULOUSLY long. I thought I was losing my mind or I had missed a few lace holes or something.... what do you do with the excess? I ended up just swapped the laces out for the ones from an older pair of Vans...

MEANY! T-SHIRT! Kidding, I've been able to skate for about two weeks now. Albeit they're very uncomfortable/damp sessions. I'm officially off methadone, and quit my (very good) government job, and am heading out into the world(single, no kids) I'll be in Vancouver in about 3 months(I think) Hope to catch a session at that park you're always at. I MIGHT bother you for some directions if I have trouble finding it when i'm in the area. Just a heads up.

I like the vulc Sheffield, but I would also recommend you try the Sheffield XLK. For me they are much quicker break-in that other cupsoles and XLK sole definitely takes longer to wear down than the vulc one.

Although the supras skated better for longer. Lakai sweet spot was about 3 weeks. Supra sweet spot was about 4 but the supra sole hurt my feet because it was so thin.
