Lake 200 EP review seaplane

I have owned my lake 200 EP for almost 2 years and I absolutely love it. I wouldn't have purchased any other aircraft given how capable it is on the water and still keeps its usability for long travel unlike most aircraft that get put on floats.

Dad was an instructor. Had a friend with a Lake Anphib in MKG County White Lake. He owned some foundry. My dad traded him instruction for time in the Lake. Dude had a lake house with a ramp to White Lake. When you are 10-12yo, taxing out of the water up the ramp into the hangar is one of the COOLEST things ever. Come to think of it the owner was somewhere on the spectrum too. VERY particular about dirt on shoes and such. Hmmm

Its lovely. We'd never get the chance to flybpne over here in the UK it would we just impossible. The number of places you could land in theory woukd be tiny and the number where it woukd be allowed would be a fraction of those.

@@cheesepilot The FAA is very easy with medicals, and you don't exactly look disabled, climbing all over the airplane....

@@Flies2FLL I'm glad you haven't had issues with your medical but the FAA isn't easy with their medicals in regards to therapy or other mental health care services. I talked to someone in Afghanistan about my PLT sgt abandoning me in Kabul and almost a decade later the FAA decided they cared about it
