Building a jet powered blower, you know, casual shit.
@MechanicalRabbits
@MechanicalRabbits Жыл бұрын
@@zagreus5773 the production (or lack thereof) is casual. A guy made a cool invention and his friend recorded it while they tested the thing. The video is straight to the point and lasts what it needs to. If a youtuber made this video you'd have a vlog of the build, lots of cuts, intense drama music, you know the drill. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but I miss the charm in videos like this where people act like people and not like celebrities.

yeah... not sure about the decision not to have a squeeze lever handle as an emergency shut-off. Since it's controlled entirely by the central panel, if you fell over or lost hold of it, it might rocket around and hit something. This video taught me two things. One, that at some point it doesn't make sense to get a more powerful blower, as power to move objects must be dropping off exponentially with increasing distance, so at some point stop chasing power and move the nozzle closer to the object. And two, this guy is totally badass.

@@ohioman4646 Not really, jet exhaust cool off extremely quickly due to the quick expansion of gas, and air is an very poor conductor of heat. This is why contrails form behind planes at high altitudes, the exhaust from combustion is water and CO2, and the water in the exhaust freeze to ice within a couple of feet of the jet engine. I'm so glad someone else noticed this. The frequency of the jet's sound encountered and exceeded the sample rate that was recorded, basically going into ultrasonic. Absolutely amazing!
