Lake Clark National Park is a remote place in southern Alaska that not many people visit. With a goal of visiting all of the national parks, I surprised my mom with a flight tour to Lake Clark National Park. We left from Anchorage and flew over to Crescent Lake before getting ona boat and cruising the lake in search of bears. It was a stunning day on the water and one I will never forget.

The reason the water is that color is because the water is super cold glacial water. It sort of does remind you of tropical waters but those waters are blue for a totally different reason. What an amazing experience to have with your mom. Thanks for sharing it.

So amazing - breathtaking just seeing the video, I can’t imagine what it would be like to see in person. I with the difficult accessibility, less people messing it up, i can see what your mom said that it was more beautiful than Yosemite. God has given us so many masterpieces.

Wow! That scenery alone was incredible even without the bears, who were a bonus! I'm taking notes for my next trip to Alaska. If you get the chance to visit Talkeetna again, I highly recommend the Talkeetna Air Taxi flight to Summit Denali. We did that in May and the weather was perfect enough that we were able to summit Denali as well as Mt. Hunter and Mt. Foraker. And we landed on the Kahiltna glacier. It was an amazing day!
