I can't believe we finally found it! This is the amazing Lake Como antique market called Mercatino del' antiquariato e del Collezionismo, and it is my new favourite market! There are vintage linens, china, vintage collectible toy cars, great bags, and vintage home decor! This antique market is the go-to place for where to buy antiques in Italy, where to buy vintage in Italy, and where to buy collectibles in Italy. Let's go!

How lovely to see the Christmas offerings...I love that you show somethings of interest for all tastes....would have bought the silver framed milagro and the fishing creel basket.

The fishing creel basket was so cute! I have enough bags…😆 I was happy to see so much Christmas as well, and the Nativity figures wer much cheaper than in Milan.

Como has been one of Rick Steeves places of import. It is amazing to see the variety each booth has. The buttons and linens were attractive. The lady who displayed the place card holders was very kind and attentive. Did not see any markdowns or bargaining! Usually, the last sale of the season would there be offers!

The buttons were so good! I have similar buttons in my collection, but I was happy to see such special shapes. The linens were good too - I think my 1 euro runner might make a nice pillow…🤔 Como is quite manageable for many people to visit - it’s near the airport, easily reachable by train, and there’s quite a bit to do packed into a reasonable sized area.
