Lake Compounce Vs Quassy Amusement Park

I think I've made this comment in a previous video but if you plan on going to multiple amusement parks Lake compounce Platinum pass is amazing. In just New England alone you get into Lake compounce, storyland, water country, Living shores aquarium and the rest of Palace entertainment parks in the US that includes Kennywood.

It is an amazing pass. I have the platinum pass and this year visited Story land, Living Shores and Dutch Wonderland on the pass. I didn't make it to water Country which is a bit sad since it's actually the closest of the group to me.

Interesting video and well thought out. one thing not noted is While Quassy does use the lake if enter on a all rides pass the lake attractions are not includes the paddle boats and the cruise boat are up-charges.

The swings were removed from LC, hoping they replace them for next year. And Lake Plunge was AMAZING, but people over estimated their strong swimming ability.

The swings were rehabbed and reopened. they were up all of the 2022 season. I also have to second that Lake Plunge was amazing.

Quassy tiny tho I remember when I went. I definitely enjoyed lakecompounce better

Same here I visited both parks in one day a few weeks ago. I hit LC a few times a year and spend basically the full day. I Hit al the teen/adult ride and all the haunts in 3.5 hours and was done.

I love both amusement parks though I would say if you have a little brothers and sisters Quassy would be your best bet considering they have an absolutely amazing water park that blew me away when I first saw it and if you also like a little amusement parks Quassy would also be your best bet since it’s small but full of fun attractions for the little ones and not to mention it’s not just for a little kids it’s also for mature kids which is amazing and they also use their lake!! Love Quassy would 100% recommend but then you also have Lake compounds they have an absolutely beautiful train ride that let you see a clear view of there lake but they also have a nice water park that knock me off my feet. And they have beautiful roller coasters but sadly on that day I was not able to go on balderdash or any roller coasters for that matter my friend was too scared. They had great amazing food and they also had a lazy river and many other things but the only problem was that MOST if not all was 12 and up (due to the height) that’s the only thing I had against it. Overall lake compounds I would really only recommend if you’re 11 or pretty tall. Overall which waterpark is better i can’t decide that they’re both amazing and different ways and just because one has something at the other doesn’t doesn’t make them horrible or bad they’re just different but I mostly go to Quassy but I loved Lake compounds!!🤍
