Lake District Drives | Over Honister Pass from Buttermere

I love this place and have been over this pass 60 times. I have visited the Lake district 77 times since 1975. I saw one of my favourite Youth Hostels "Honister House YHA along the pass. I use to site outside of the hostel and embrace the mind blowing beauty of the landscape. Thanks for sharing this awesome video Tony & Laura Subscribed

What were you driving? Would it be proper scary in a motorhome Width:2.13 m Length:5.90m? Any suggestions of a goodcampsite near Buttermere? Thanks in advance

I’ve never driven a motor home, so not sure if it would make it. If it’s any help, the busses drive over the pass, so if it’s just a matter of size, I think you should be OK! There are a couple of campsites in Buttermere itself (I think), and other good ones in Borrowdale - I’d recommend the one in Grange, which is basic, but lovely.
