Excellent views from Latterbarrow. 👍 Thanks for sharing as always. 🙂

Thanks Sally. The views just about made up for the bogs and undergrowth 🙄

That was a squelchy one! I liked the views, I’m always impressed how you can name all the hills

Thanks Cathy. Yes, it was a bit wet in places. I’ve been walking the hills for almost 15 years now, so many of the skylines are familiar. There are some areas I’m a bit rusty on though.

Great to show the route on the map. Fantastic views on the tops. Best wishes on the next Tony.

Thank you. Most people seem to like me showing the route. The views made up for the boggy, overgrown paths.

Cheers for the heads up Tony... I expected the paths in that area to be like roads.. Think am gonna do these 2 from Hawkshead and pick up Carron Crag a little further south.. Good stuff, all the best lad :)

Cheers Dave. Wondered if you’d done ‘em yet. I’d already done Carron Crag. Hope you have a good day.

As has been commented the views from Latterbarrow were excellent. Great video but as you say some of the paths were overgrown and boggy. Horrible stuff bracken especially when wet!

The views just about made up for the bracken & bogs. Bracken is also a tick Heaven (or Hell, depending on whether you’re a tick, a Tony, or a Charlie).

Good one Tony, plenty of greenery around today. Did you get your Gimble sorted out?
@TonysTrails2 ай бұрын
Hi John. Not surprised the greenery is lush with all the rain! Turns out the gimbal issue was operator error - must have forgotten to charge it after the Yorkshire trip.

Great video as always. I wasn’t expecting the paths to be so difficult given the location! We were thinking of doing Ben Nevis but via the mountain path (not confident enough to do the CMD route) but having seen how busy the path gets (to the point of it almost looking dangerous) we’re probably going to give it a miss and walk the West Highland Way instead.

Thanks for watching and the comment. The state of the footpaths surprised me too, as you say, given the location. Let us know how you get on with the WHW, as it’s something we’re considering. One of the problems we have on multi-day hikes is finding convenient dog-friendly accommodation.

@@TonysTrails Will do. Will Charlie be going via the CMD Arête with you?

He was supposed to be, but it was going to be last week and I cancelled our trip due to the forecast.
