At the rate the two of you are exploring the wonders of the world, I will be poetically drained by the third episode. 😄 I had the pleasure of going to the island myself and found it to be a hidden paradise amidst my favourite lake in all of Europe. Having said that, this is my very small contribution to your enchanting travel vlog: Within the waters blue and green, a distant island can be seen. It is afar in dreamlike pose and teases you to venture close. When stepping from a rocking boat ashore to magic come afloat. A paradise of scents and trees filled with the humming of the bees. From every angle you inspect, a scenic view you will detect. Venetian arches, frescos grand, the enchantment of a fairyland. But once you leave the dream persists and holds you captive for all time. It lingers like the distant song of a church bells chime.

@Travels With My Friend I just wanted to say that taking a couple years to collect episodes and edit them carefully and deliberately was the right move;editing like that takes time, but the beauty we've been seeing on all three vlogs so far deserved the time needed to curate these vlogs. Beauty can't be rushed. I, for one, am so relieved that you stood firm on taking as long as needed to bring us soul-lifting inspiration. I felt like I could breathe today for the first time in a long time, as I immersed myself in this beauty you brought us. Oliver: Emotionally intelligent editing👍🏻. And I never fail to notice and be impressed by what a gentleman you are in the little things you do. I grew up in a town on Lake Garda but I've never been to Isola del Garda so it's wonderful to be able to explore it virtually from London. I actually preferred the previous version of the villa, looked more authentic than the current Venetian style. Such beauty needs to be gazed on in stillness, so that it has the chance to sink into the gazee's being, creating an echo to the beauty from within. The light in many of the angles was perfect, defused with a haze which softened objects into a oneness that created divine pictures. I think we are very lucky to see these places through the eye of an artist, who understands how to take the scenes to gain the best effect, artistically and spiritually. We did this tour in mid-May. It was a rainy day, and a very bouncy boat journey from Sirmione, but completely worth it, a stunning location, exquisite house and gardens with a fascinating history, and an engaging guide, Massimiliano. I'd recommend the tour to anyone, it was the highlight of our Lake Garda visit.
