Lake George: A Living Legacy

“Lake George: A Living Legacy” features the three chief concerns that pose a gathering threat to Lake health- invasive species, rising salt levels, and declining water quality and clarity-that, unless halted, will trigger dramatic declines. These threats were revealed in the State of the Lake Report: 30 Years of Water Quality Monitoring on Lake George-published by The FUND and RPI. In direct response, The FUND for Lake George launched its Legacy Strategy to head off threats and achieve sustained protection of Lake George through unprecedented partnerships, program innovations, and targeted investments.
