Lake Kissimmee Florida Bass Fishing (Spring Pad Pitching)

My first day back in Florida did not disappoint! The Kissimmee Chain really is a special place and if your in search of a place to stay Camp Mack in Lake Wales is the deal! The amenities are second to none and the central location on the Kissimmee Chain makes it a fishing and family paradise! The mission was to figure out if the bass were spawning so I got right to pad flipping/pitching and it didn’t take long to find some aggressive largemouth bass! The key bait was the new Z-man Bang StickZ rigged with a 3/8oz pegged 6th Sense Pitch Black Tungsten Weight and a 4/0 Jugular Hybrid Hook! I fish this set up with 20lb Vicious Pro Elite Fluorocarbon with a 8.3:1 Johnny Morris Platinum Reel and a Temple Fork Outfitters 7’3” Tactical Elite Bass Rod! The final key is wearing Fish Monkey Stubby Gloves so you make sure your hand never slips on a hookset! Watch learn and enjoy!
