I love breaking down lakes. GE pro is my new hobby. It's cool to find things that nobody else knows about. It was really crazy physically seeing the lakes out here during the drought. I think someone actually fell into the mud off of the 66 bridge in Rowlett. Got stuck and had to be rescued lol.

It's addicting for sure! Always cool to go out on the water and see it all come together. It's pretty amazing what you can find and how it changes your strategies on the lakes.

Thank you for the break down. I really want to take my son to do some shoreline fishing out there but have never fished there before. Do you recommend a good spot for some catfish or crappie? Would like to get out there in February or am I spinning my wheels and just have to wait till spring? Thanks.

Behind the dam if the water is flowing is good. Also I see a lot of people over by Lavon park bank fishing a lot.

@@SimplisticFishing my son and I fished up there by 380 bridge and the shad were jumping out of the water. I only caught one crappie before it got dark but definitely going back.

Save the file to your desktop, then open google earth pro and go to file/open.

I need to find somebody like you to go fishing with. I'm a hands on person but would be easier if I could find somebody to show me in person. These electronics are new to me because I've always been a bank fisherman and was given a boat so I stepped into a whole different realm of fishing

Lake Lavon is one of the ugliest lakes, many of us have ever seen. But it is in North Texas, so it makes sense that it would be. 😆
