Those look like some awesome fun trails. I'm retiring in March and will be taking a long overdue extended Mountain Biking and Whitewater Paddling vacation. This place will definitely be on the list!

Awesome congratulations! Yeah, they’re a blast. There’s a lot of trail out there, not just the gravity stuff. There are some really challenging x c trails that run around the lake. Passion play is just down the road as well.

One of the best tours of leatherwood I've seen. When someone asks what are the leatherwood trails like? I'm going to send them this video!

Just caught this. You captured the best of Leatherwood and how it should be done .. gloriously. Killer riding buddy. Arguably the best vid I've seen of Eureka Springs awesomeness. Again, excellent riding man.

Have not been there but I am just a beginner so I guess I should stay away from there for now :P Looks fun though and I can't wait to learn more skills to be able to do this!

What is the cost to get in and do the shuttle or not do the shuttle
@mtbdirtbag33704 жыл бұрын
The public shuttle is 20$ for a day pass. You can also self shuttle, as well as climb up Miner's Rock to the top of the hill.

Great riding! You were getting some serious pop off those jumps. At times, I thought..."Oh no, not enough speed," but then you just floated over them like it was nothing, and you cleared a lot of them on the "dirt side" without even hitting the kickers. Boost! PLEASE don't end up in the hospital right now. As someone who has played with this for years, and had lots of people make suggestions and helptful tips, I wanted to share one with you to maybe help. You're getting that pixelated view because your bitrate is too low. If you filmed this in 1080p, you should render/export/produce (whatever term your software uses for when you're finished editing, and want to finalize the video so you can then upload it) it in 2.7K or 4K and for sure up the bitrate to 60,000. KZbin sucks when you upload in 1080p, even if you recorded the video in 1080p, for whatever reason. And you HAVE to increase the bitrate to 60,000 or you're going to get that "fuzzy" looking trail look. I record everything in 1080p 30fps, but produce the final video in 2.7K with a 60K bitrate, and it makes it look smooth on KZbin. I would love to move to 4K, but I'd have to get a new PC and I dread all that goes with that. For your audio, make sure that you set the camera mic settings to "STEREO" in the ProTune menu. If you leave it on "auto" you'll get that weird "wind noise correction" that makes the audio sound dull. Also...curious, was that in "wide" or "Superview?" It looked like more was cropped from the top than should have been. Maybe your angle just dropped a little as you kept riding? I hope that helps! Keep 'em coming!

Thanks man! Agreed, safety was definitely something that was on my mind. Before this, I had zero experience editing/using any sort of video software. It's taken a little bit of trial and error to figure out what works, but it's been interesting. Thanks for the recommendations. I'm using the GoPro hero 5 black and I used 2.7k/30fps/superview for this. I will change it to 60 fps to see if it's any better. As far as the audio goes, I have the audio on the lowest setting. Thanks for watching and stay safe.

@@mtbdirtbag3370 .... Ahh...I thought your camera was likely before the 7's and 8's stabilization came out. It's not what you film in...that looks fine. 60fps won't help this issue. 30 to 60fps will just allow you to make slow motion look smoother. It won't fix the pixelated "blurry" look. It's how you render the finished video after editing that matters. You can manually increase the bitrate to 60K. That's the trick to getting it to look smooth on KZbin, like it does on your computer. What software are you using? I can probably lead you to the screen to make those changes. It's going to make a HUGE difference...promise.

@@willbros1499 I'm using iMovie. So far, the only thing that I've seen on how to change from 30 fps to 60 fps post ride is to add a 60 fps clip to the beginning and copy the format to the rest of the clips.
@willbros14994 жыл бұрын
Here's a video that should help you find what you need to change before exporting. iMovie gives the number if kb/s instead of mb/s, so it's 6K instead of 60K like my editing software..but the same number. Again...this is bitrate, not frame rate. Going to 60fps would help slightly with the motion on the sides from being blurry, but most people don't care about that. It will make the file size MUCH bigger as well, and unecessary unless you want slow motion to look more clear. This should be what you need. You could export with these settings, and change the name of the video, and upload it to KZbin...and see the difference. Then delete the first one. Good luck man...just trying to help, because I like your riding and you can make some nice videos with the right settings! kzbin.info/www/bejne/bWbXm4B-qNR7mLM

Dang man, that berm to berm transition on that last black trail was sick! Awesome riding, man. Also, Willbros info is pretty solid. KZbin only allows a bitrate of like 6-10mbps for 1080 uploads and it just destroys GoPro footage. Found that out the hard way on my last uploads. I'm exporting 4k at 40mbps now, as KZbin will allow 35-40mbps in 4k. It's weird and annoying, but seems to be the ticket.
