I still remember the day I found that dollar general by your kids school. I was like, seriously, we have this many Dollar General's?

Great use of the J cut to you under the light with the dark sky behind you. I liked it. I have seen those hooks in a few campgrounds, I think they are to hang your kids on by their belt loops. 😱 😜 I did like they way you used the light to frame yourself against the dark sky in several of the shots, I am going to have to remember to try that. Great video David. 🍻 Sean

I used a lens and camera that can take in a lot of light and blur the background. That's the Nifty Fifty lens.

@@TexasFamilyCamping I have a Canon D6 with at 50MM 1.8 lens. I generally use it for stills. Most of my vloggin is done on my Canon M-50. I do have an adapter to use the "nifty fifty" on the M-50, I just have to remember to set it up. Mabey I need to tie string on my finger. I did love the look of your video.

Looks like a nice park. I like the tower by the lake.
@TexasFamilyCamping2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, that tower and the docks and fish cleaning area were really nice.

Wow, Lake Livingston is beautiful! I have never seen a sewer connector enclosed in that kind of metal contraption before. The boat dock and fish cleaning station was pretty amazing! A site big enough for a large rig, a view of the water, AND amazing internet?! Count me in!!!

It's pretty sweet, I agree. I hope to stay there for a week someday

Nice review Dave. Love the opening segment. Did you do a zolly vertigo effect? Looked really cool! 👍🏽

Are you referring to the shot down the road with the trees? I filmed with my phone, just going from low to high. And then I zoomed in while editing.

What a beautiful park! Love the state parks!! What do you use the hook for? Bears? Let us know... Love your review great job there~ Brad and Diana
@TexasFamilyCamping2 жыл бұрын
My preference for the hooks is my old school lantern. Also can be trash, to keep the raccoons out. And we've used the hooks for a cocoon pod seat for the girls.

@@TexasFamilyCamping ahhhh a cocoon pod chair sounds great... like a hammock kinda... good use for the hook.... we have never used one. ~ Brad and Diana
