Lake Macquarie-the Squid were biting.

Holiday season has begun but the fishing continues. Lake Macquarie is the destination an the day started out great weather wise. Fishing was slow but the squid were on fire. Then as usual the wind ended the session......enjoy the video.

Thanks mate, every spot i fished had squid i think they must have just come into the lake in numbers. Kept taking my vibe so thats why i decided to just go for the squid. From murrays to the drop over was squid everywhere 👍

Whats the secret to keeping squid. I see you putting the straight in the esky. Do you kill them first.

Hey mate, if i want to eat them i spike them apparently it helps somehow but no idea how it does. An if i keep some for bait just straight into an ice slurry.
