I never make any comments but thought I would. First I really enjoy watching your channel and always look forward to your next episode. One thing I really like is how you don’t have a big introduction and get right into the action. You share a lot of good information making what you do interesting. I like how you get your whole team involved in your work and aren’t a one man band. Doing this will make your team better. I’m a 41 year retired City Of Phoenix employee that spent all my time in specialized heavy maintenance and repair. I was a supervisor my last 11 years and had to learn and trust my people to do the work. Team building is a key principle to success. Some day in my travels I hope to pay you a visit along with others you introduce on you channel (Robby and Paul). Thank you for providing good clean entertainment.

If you took a stock 4wd street vehicle and just went flat out, full throttle, hell bent for leather, I wonder how far you could you make it? I wonder if that's what happened a couple weeks ago in the collab with Paul, when they pieced together like 600 feet of rope to reach the vehicle?

Great choice in recovery point, I work with road vehicles from ditches, fields, and accidents and the control arms are great points to pull from! I commonly use them to re-right, and drag vehicles without fixed points. Banana A/C: As an owner of a 2000 XJ, My AC randomly quit working, so here's a couple things to check if you know for a fact that your system has pressure. Check the high pressure cutoff switch, and the low pressure clutch cycling switch. My AC worked great and then the compressor pulley bearing started failing, so I replaced everything because the kit wasn't much more than the compressor alone, shortly after my high pressure switch failed, I replaced it, and a month later the low pressure switch failed, replaced it. And for the last 3 years I haven't had a problem with the AC.

yes but, im pretty sure patagonia sponsors the channel. he even said the tires for golden nugget were donated provided patagonia (and lots of other things like raceline wheels, driveshafts, recovery gear, and other big parts)

he has stated a bunch of times that new tires don't work well at all for the type of recoveries that he does.

@@MrMrsregor FYI, the company is Milestar, Patagonia is the model of tire. Trevor has been wearing a Milestar hat in several of the recent videos. They definitely have a sponsorship deal with MORR...

Restock the SHIRTS! Matt are you going to finish the interior of the Banana/XJ? Can you show us the rear/storage area of the Banana and where you keep all the tools and recovery equipment and how you keep everything organized?

First customer: “I thought I had some off roading skill” Everyone watching the video: Driving down a gravel driveway isn’t some off-roading skill.

It amazes me how few people can keep the steer wheels straight while being towed! You guys have to tell most every driver to go straight. Seems like that should be the obvious thing to do. Follow the thing pulling you.
@loosemoose97992 жыл бұрын
That is seen in video after video. They don't know which way they are turned to begin the tow and don't know when the wheels are straight ahead. Also, for some reason the wheels are most always turned to the left. Matt tells them where to point the wheels and they still don't get it.

Rules schmules! What matters is getting it done & back home safe. Matt & his capable crew always rise to the challenge. It’s not always pretty, but it gets them out. Ed’s one tough cookie. Many much younger folks wouldn’t be game to keep doing what he does in hot weather, but when you’ve got such a passion & love of doing something comfort comes a distant second.

Taking blue is probably also cheaper than using the banana. Blue steel might make it up with towing. But will probably have a lower fuel consumption over all.
