Lake Mohave is a reservoir on the Colorado River between the Hoover Dam and Davis Dam in Cottonwood Valley defining the border between Nevada and Arizona in the United States. This 67 mile stretch of the Colorado River flows past Boulder City, Nelson, Searchlight, Cottonwood Cove, Cal-Nev-Ari, and Laughlin to the west in Nevada and Willow Beach and Bullhead City to the east in Arizona. A maximum width of 4 miles wide and an elevation of 647 feet (197 m), Lake Mohave encompasses 28,260 acres of water. As Lake Mead lies to the north of the Hoover Dam, Lake Mohave and adjacent lands forming its shoreline are part of the Lake Mead National Recreation Area administered by the U.S. National Park Service.
There are three resorts on Lake Mohave: Katherine Landing and Willow Beach in Arizona and Cottonwood Cove in Nevada. Katherine Landing and Cottonwood Cove resorts offer lodging, RV parks with utility hook-ups, campgrounds, a restaurant a store, and marinas with gas docks. Popular recreational activities in Lake Mohave are swimming, kayaking, fishing, boating, and skiing. There are kayaking, scuba diving, and fishing supplies in Bullhead City, which borders the southernmost point of Lake Mohave. Lake Mohave offers year-round recreational opportunities. Its clear water caters to boaters, swimmers, and fishermen while its desert rewards hikers, wildlife photographers, and roadside sightseers. It is also home to thousands of desert plants and animals, adapted to survive in an extreme place where rain is scarce and temperatures soar.

I have 10acres here I’d be more worried about a lot of the land and properties being covered in garbage n filth. The drive out here is a sore sight with how some of the properties are maintained.. More people might help with the value. He did mention in his his video at the end to please make sure to not trash the place.

I’m from Massachusetts and believe me when I say you guys don’t know what real crowds are, in All my years of watching KZbin videos about Arizona and surrounding areas I have never seen anything like what we have to go through in New England. Appreciate what you have. 😮 it looks beautiful out there.

@@cassiusdio6048 Within the past few years more and more places across Arizona have been getting closed down or turned into permit only areas. According to monitoring areas by agencies such as BLM and the forest service, this is being done in direct correlation to the number of people going to areas because of social media postings. There are areas now that I visited all my life I will no longer go too because of the number of people. Sadly, as you indicate where you live, areas of the Southwest are now seeing massive crowds that are destroying areas thanks to the influx of careless visitors.

Google Map that's pretty much I use and i want it to do an animation but I don't have skill yet to do that but its pretty easy going there anyway once you are in the entrance in Monache Meadow its a one way In and Out you won't get lost going there I do have a video going there with coordination maybe it can help you. Anyway drive safely 👍
