Lake Monduran June & July Barra Fishing

The winter Barra fishing this year was a lot tougher than last year. We were seeing heaps of Barra but they were hard to catch. But Arth landed a few and we had 2 good trips.

Got any tips for someone that can't catch any Barra? The only thing i have caught there is catfish.

@user-bs9gw6fy7c the last couple of months have been tough fishing. Fish the shallow points where the wind is blowing towards, fish about half way up the dam using a Boney squirrel jackall ( the 79 small one) with 3 jinks and then long pause with plenty of patience. Goodluck

@@chloesfishingadventures9491 Thanks, I've given the winter months a miss, but heading back there in October. Previously I have been using soft plastic swimbaits like Molex and Irakanki etc. They don't work for me, so might throw them in the bin in favour of some more hard bodies like the Squirrels. I'm really hoping to get one by 2030. Such a hard fish to catch. They are like ghosts.
