Matty, we can't thank you enough for doing this video and giving some love to our Fish For A Cure benefit! This was our 8th year and our most successful ever! To answer an earlier question it took 22.25 pounds to win that day and a high 14 to get paid. More importantly we raised over $62,000 for the American Cancer Society! Thanks to everyone that came out. We at the Ray Hubbard Bass Club appreciate your support. Matty, the 9th Annual FFAC is scheduled for Sunday October 27th 2024. Hope to see you there!

My home lake. Ironically my least favorite lake to fish😂 Docks and rocks and green pumpkin always seems to play there. Nice work. And ya... Huge catfish in that lake! At 11:14 you're almost spitting distance from my neighborhood😂

Definitely locally known for some aggressive monster cats 😂 Can’t be too upset to feel the tug of one of those beasts. So stoked you were around and the timing worked out. See ya again the next time you’re out this way 🤙🤙

Any time you fish a tournament like this it's a win but I'm just wondering what was the winning weight ? Great job , going in blind is never a easy task. You figured something out and enjoyed the day that's a win win .
@MattyWongFishing11 ай бұрын
The winning weight was 22lbs I believe then it fell off fast.. definitely felt like a win to help donate to a good cause. It’s a really good exercise to go into a tournament on a new lake, forces you to fish the conditions! 🤙🏽😁

I grew up catching white bass and hybrids on that lake. You are lucky you didn't catch a grennill over by BPS.

What Orochi rod were you using for crankin in this video?
@MattyWongFishing11 ай бұрын
I was using a EMTF for the medium crank! I really like that one along with the perfect pitch.
