Thanks for the great videos Mike! I began watching them from New Jersey when you first began sharing them and have always enjoyed them immensely. I had begun my research into Lake Norman in 2019 and between all the various sources on the web and several visits to the area we bought an inland lot in Harbor Watch in 2022. It not just the waterfront lots that have steep inclines, our is on one of the ponds and the slope is close to what some lakefront homes have. We didn't begin building until last September and hope ot move in this summer. We have found the community to be very welcoming and every time we come down to checkon the progress we are that much closer to completing the dream. Every time we drive through that gate and come up the hill to our lost we become that much more sure that we chose wisely. Thanks for the advice!

@@mk84boom We are completing our build in LKN, moving from northwest NJ (West Milford) and definitely leaving the blue politics behind, we want what NC has, will do our best to fit in and not inflict Jersey on everyone. We will not miss NJ one bit. Best decision we ever made.

Sadly, Queens Landing has been bought by a developer who is stripping building down. Going to miss local feel since whole area is getting overrun with developments. Even the lake cruises have been abandoned and boats are still owned by Ms. Harwell who has anchored them near channel marker D5. Whole area is becoming an extension of New York state.
