I love fishing the rim canal around Lake Okeechobee. I even catch some big bream right behind Roland Martin Marina. Port Mayaka is another favorite spot of mine.

What are the size and name of that spinning rod you’re using in this video and what are the best two colors of hair jigs for catching shells crawler and red ear and bluegill from the bank casting for them please. I do nothing but casting for them from the bank that’s all I do. What are the name and size and color of that fishing line also please. It's just a small jig from Roland Martin Marina. I like the one with gold body, orange head, and green tinsel skirt. I think it's a 1/16th oz jig. The only reason it's working so well is because I am casting directly on top of active bluegills beds! Those beds are more difficult to locate from shore, but still possible! I am using an old 6' Medium Mitchell spinning rod and a small 1000 size Shimano reel with 4lb test fishing line. I don't recall what kind of line it was. Good luck out there!
