I remember this lp with great fondness. I wish they had more airplay in America.

A staple of my playlist at Indiana University in 1976-78. Every song glistens. How this didn't be a successful single is beyond me.

With my twinbrother I liked this band so much, the age of 13, discovering new worlds... Their songs not the Mainstream heard Scorpions I never liked, from our Hannover. Lake had so much great Songs ON THE RUN, TIME BOMB... Philosphy... Still got their records, together with ELEPHANT (Same years I think from Hamburg) and tangerine dream LPs colkection from a flew-market. Glad to hear that someone in USA heard them. REMEMBERING NOW OF GOD, HONEST DAYS, the 70's of true musicians, the world smaller, not disturbing like these days.

Germany’s answer to the Little River Band. The lead singer sounds very much like LRB’s Glen Shorrock. Both groups had perfected the west coast AOR sound, though I think Lake didn’t have the commercial success of LRB, in the US.

"And they say that she'll join the band, when she learns to sing." Sounds like a Yoko reference.

It really does!! Actually, I thought the band was referencing another Beatles couple. Meaning Paul and Linda McCartney and Wings, to be specific. But still, the John & Yoko connection could be more the accurate one. Great song. Damn, these guys were really talented! Sometimes it takes years for people to figure that out! Long Live Lake!!

Interesting, the CBS LP from their action in Todtnauberg at 2.4.1977 gives another text for this title. It is even better.
