Lake Somerville is LOADED with NICE CRAPPIE | Limited Out Catching Crappie On A KAYAK

On this trip, I went back down to Lake Somerville to for round 2 of epic crappie fishing, and I was able to catch another limit of nice fish! The day started off hot, and ended hot! I ended up catching over 50 crappie, and took home a limit! It was an awesome day!

Yea, heard the same about the fish getting flushed out into San Jac River and into Lake Houston. It will take 2 months to bring the water salanity back in balance, and the small fish are gone, so the big fish head down south? This is the theory?

Thanks, I really appreciate it! I usually use the ramp at Birch Creek Park, it’s $5.00 to access the park, and it’s really the same price for all the other parks too. Good luck out there!

Yeah, I could be a streamer on twitch hahaha! But the waters I fish aren’t beyond 20ft so forward mode is perfect. Anything deeper than 25ft or 30ft, then I’d use the down mode.
