Hello, I am from Minnesota and have done some gold prospecting down in redwood falls, mn. I found about the same amount in 8hrs of panning down by the redwood river falls. All tiny flakes but so worth the trip. A sluice like that may lead to higher amounts.

Do what she does when she buys a new purse - lie about the price. Let’s be honest, most prospecting equipment doesn’t LOOK expensive. Molded plastic, aluminum, some little rubber doormats (that you cut yourself from a neighbor’s old mat)… You needed the battery (and charger?) for the lawn mower. Sounds like about $150 worth of merchandise, right? 😉 Go for it, and have tons of fun! Bring a friend along for even more fun. Split the finds between y’all. A great day out - more action than when fishing, less frustration than golf, and usually NO ONE around! A win-win-win-win, right?

My old boss and I are going up for a week, he’s in remission and he’s on oxygen but he wants to go so we are going. We’re gonna stick closer to the park area but it’s still going to be awesome! Pretty much too much hype and not enough results (although you are just working lake sand). A trip to Nome (yes, I did, and no, not GPAA) and you will either go stark raving mad or become a MUCH better panner when it comes to the powder Gold. 56 years of Gold Panning across the world and I can say that without all the store bought toys a real miner shines with only classifiers and a pan. Now, if you had a pan with, say, 500 sub #100 bits of Gold --- well then that would have actually been impressive. This showing is OK but not exceptional.

Rockerboxs and specific gravity traps' are the only way, to mine flower gold. That has no mass so it just moves with the hidroconetic force of water. Thats added to by the cohesive nature of the surrounding gravel and sand. And the only way to fight it' is by removing them from the equation. But few know that Rockerbox's are not rocking sluesboxs. They are supposed to have aprons in them. Flexible cups like gold pans that are made of soft material like linen or silk. That works like a gold pan that dossent stop between pans' or gets tilted to expedite removal. When it works by adding more than the volume of the cup can hold. So spills off the lighter material as excess. And retains the heavies as a ever increasing volume' that's added to the waist, that spills off. Leaving the gold as the heaviest. That has to collect because all the variables that can make it migrate' have been removed from the equation. Kind of like a gold pan' that keeps getting filled. But not cleaned out. And because it's just rocked? The back stays intact longer by not having to hold the weight while the action is aplied.

Great comeback with the equipment! You have to be resourceful and creative to pull it off sometimes and I always say it doesn't have to be pretty to work well. Love it! Great content! Yet another fun video! The buried treasures left by the Mystery Prospector were very cool. I think masonry ties in to enjoying this type of hobby, at least it does for me. I did, amongst other things, decorative concrete and decorative stone work for many years. Playing with rocks, dirt, mud, sand, etc as a kid? Yeah, I'll be buying some equipment soon! That Minnesota/Wisconsin gold just wasn't cuttin it. We moved down to northwest Arizona last spring. I'm out right now, I highly suggest moving down here. I'm on a decent lane, should have around 3 grams by tomorrow afternoon, unless I hit a 5 ouncer or something. A guy about a mile from me got a 22 grammer a couple weeks ago.

There is gold there but that amount is minuscule. About $40 bucks for all the time and effort is questionable. Now if the gold derivative pricing mechanism wasn't so manipulated downward by the banksters(bullion banks) it would probably be 3 to 4 times or more of that, then your talkin.

$35.12 worth of gold! Yeah I know doing this is meant to be just for fun as a hobby and all, But I'm sorry if I myself was going to go out and bust my ass all day shoveling dirt and looking for Gold then I'm going to want to definitely get more than .59 Grams worth, bc say that you go out and put in 12 Hours Digging and looking for Gold and at the end of the day you only get .59 Grams, You just made $2.92 an Hour, but then again Idk how much money you make off Each Video either tho. I mean this .59 Grams of Gold might only be worth $35.12 and the video itself might be worth a few Hundred Dollars to a couple Thousand Dollars 🤷 I honestly don't know what you get paid from the views on each video, But if it was me I'd want to take the biggest sluice box that I could carry in a Wheelbarrow that way I could run WAY more material and in return catch way more gold, Bc like I said I understand that it's supposed to be meant as a Hobby and just for Fun, But that doesn't mean that you still can't catch as much Gold as you possibly can to make it worth your while. 🤷 I'm not knocking what you do bc I myself would love to be out there doing what you're doing but I live in Ohio and Ohio ain't known for finding Gold unless you are finding it at Yard Sales or Laying on the Ground in Jewelry Forum LoL.... But keep up the good work tho man and hopefully one of these days you'll hit a REALLY REALLY Rich Spot of Flower Gold and get a couple Grams 🤞🤞 My Fingers are crossed for you man bc I'd absolutely love to watch it...

The first step is to find it, now that we have we need to figure out how much effort to invest in the long hike to this location. 90% of this activity is for fun , the gold is a nice 10% bonus ✅ If you knew what i put my body through all week at work you’d understand that this little bit of digging is “ breaktime “ 🤣 I hope you do get to see us get a couple grams 🐺🍻

At 13:02 when you showed your pan, what would you say that that is worth? I don't know anything about gold but I find panning it would be a great hobby . Is this legal to just dig up the beachscape like that? I know in Florida if you rip up the dunes, it's bad news bears and they will come and arrest you. There is a lot of signage for leaving the dunes alone there.
