I drove up Donner Pass fro CA and drove down it on the other side. Steepest scariest pass I’ve ever driven, in daylight, dry roadway. I can’t imagine driving in heavy traffic in bad weather.

Lived there for 10 years... If I wasn't too old to handle the winters, I still would. Must be one of the most beautiful places on earth. If you go (and you should)... take your money, take your time... and stay as long as you can. There's so much to do in the basin and surrounding areas you may not want to leave. Late Spring & early Fall are unbelievable - put it on your Bucket List.

I love that you did a video on my favorite place in the US…it’s an incredible and unique location that gives you a very different experience depending on what season you go. My recommendation for food in South Lake Tahoe is Fire and Ice, since I’m a big fan of all you can eat.

this will be my 3rd year in a row going to Incline Village.! Tahoe is bad ass! Eagle Falls has an awesome trail that leads up to a mountain lake and the gondola ride is awesome as well. we are going to take the Lake Tahoe boat tour this year. we drove around the whole lake stopping at multiple locations to take in the sights, found some pine cones the size of footballs! Seriously recommend everyone to visit Lake Tahoe at once in your lifetime. Hyatt Regency Hotel in Incline Village is an awesome stay.

There are 132 islands in Hawaii, 6 visitor islands. I have been to all 8. It's very cool even in a heat wave not hot like Florida. Been many times to California on the way to Hawaii but not lake Tahoe.

@@GodsOath_com I have been to Hawaii in every season even in a heat wave s it was was not hot to me. I even climbed diamond head in a heat wave! It has real trade winds that keep it from feeling so humid! Even was going to move there but its very tyrannical towards people that live there now but not visitors. For that reason many locals hate visitors! I networked for hundreds of locals because we were going to move there, Several have been to Florida and it was too hot for them!

Being from the Bay Area and and a long time snow skier , i have been to Tahoe or the Tahoe area has to be pushing a hundred times...I always think i know everything about the area but i always find out what i know when somebody else visits it....I had no idea about the Hot air balloon rides or helicopter rides out of the airport i guess because only bout mabey 30-40 % of the time ive been there has been in the summer time...Its my favorite place anywhere i have been in the country....View at the top of the tram at Heavenly resort is kewl but the best view of the area ive seen is at the warming hut area of Homewood ski resort on west shore (Tahoma)... So close to the lake its like you can run, jump off the mountain and land in the lake...Not really but its such a beautiful spot especially a day after a heavy snow and the skies are clear....There are alot of little secrets i didnt see on here but these guys did get around a little bit on this video...Last time i was in Truckee had breakfast at a place that had about 50 different versions of egg omelets...Was heading back home on Amtrak after a ski trip...

Your businesses depend on tourists to be able to make a living and feed their families. You generalize a few bad tourists as if that's everybody, but tourism brings tax revenue into the area that pays for services, it's way the area spends money on marketing to tourists
