In this video I take you on a ride across Lake Taupo, as a part of the Lake Taupo Takeover Tour 2023. We hit a perfect summers day, with glassy conditions, and 40+ skis on the water! The tour starts at the Southern edge in Motuoapa, then takes you across the lake to two mile bay, the Maori Rock Carvings, Kinloch, and finally to the Otupoto Falls.
A full day of riding that I ABSOLUTELY recommend. A big thanks to Wake.X for organising and running such a great event. I took my new Sea-doo RXP 300, that was still in the break in period. Awesome Ski!

I hit the 5 hour first break in mark in this ride on my new RXP. Increase in hole shot, but max rpm limited to 8000. LOVING this ski ❤

Great trip and great quality video. I'm from Melbourne and I own a 2019 RXP-X 300. Mad Ski 👍🏾. I wish there are similar group trips like that here.
