Has the RXP ever sent you flying off ? I want to upgrade from my GTR hull, to something thats better in the chop but have been told by many people the RXP is a ski that does not forgive and will throw you off at even a wrong glance. Racers use them so they cant be that bad right ?😂 been following your channel from the start 💪🏼
@livinginwake2 ай бұрын
@@stuarts3016 wow you would have seen the very average beginnings haha. Thanks for this. You know actually prefer the RXP, its predictable and doesn’t wander like the ST3 hulls. You certainly have to hold strong and turn with it. But if you’re experienced, I like it. Definitely less forgiving than the GTR. Currently on a GTi , and it just slides on the turn, so you will have to change your approach going from the GTR

@@stuarts3016 no worries. If it’s offshore chop, it’s a balance. The ST3 hulls are more comfy in it, GTX or RXT. But they bow hunt. I had an rxt and did a couple long rides open ocean. It’s forgiving. RXP was great with myself. Not great 2up. Rxt was great for 2up, probably my preference over RXP for most. The ST3 hull is more stable at stationary. All are awesome skis.
