I'm also into the crystals and herbs and stuff. 😂 I visited this cemetery for my birthday. It is absolutely beautiful. The community mausoleum has some beautiful smaller memorials. I could spend days walking around all the local cemeteries in the area. Learning more about the history only makes me want to go back to see what I've missed.

Lake View Cemetery is one of the most beautiful cemeteries in the Country. And even today, people still picnic there (well they did in the 80s & 90s). I did not know who the first person buried in LV was. I didn't know that about Salisbury steak either! Levi Schofield also designed the Soldier & Sailor's Monument in downtown Cleveland, which is a stunning piece of sculpture. Elliot & Betty Ness's ashes were with their adoptive son, I believe his name was Robert. When the son died, he too was cremated and all three sets of ashes were spread in Wade Lake. Funnily ennough, I lived in Cleveland (born there in '64) for over 40 years and have NEVER seen a Haserot truck. I knew of the angel, but had no idea of the family business or that it was still in business. Marcus Hanna was the king maker behind the election of William McKinley. He was VERY powerful politically and an arch-enemy of Theodore Roosevelt. (TR was put in as VP to keep him quiet and out of the way - obviously didn't work out for Hanna.) Yes, Ray Chapman was hit by a pitch from Carl Mays of the Yankees. He was going to retire following the 1920 season to join his father in law at East Ohio Gas. The team dedicated the 1920 WS in his memory. They must clean the offerings because Chappie used to have several ball bats at his grave. Amasa Stone killed himself over the drowning death of his only son, not really due to the Ashtabula Bridge Disaster. He had also suffered several monetary set backs late in life. One of Amasa Stone's daughters was married to JOhn Hay, that's why they're next to each other. The interior of the Garfield Mausoleum is stunning. It's very OTT, but very much of its time. They are not vaulted BTW, their coffins are laying in full view, his draped with an American Flag. I'm very surprised you didn't stop at the Collinwood Memorial Disaster. It's the worst school fire (not caused by an explosion) in US history. 172 children, 2 teachers and 1 rescuer were killed on March 4, 1908 Ash Wednesday. There is still a memorial garden kept up on E152nd on the footprint of the original building. 19 student couldn't be identified, so they're buried in a mass grave near the Euclid Ave entrance. Sorry I went on. I just love this place and even when we do get back to Cleveland, I can no longer really visit as I'm disabled and no longer walk unaided.

Did someone say Salisbury steak??? lol Yes!! I love these style cemeteries for that reason alone. The soldier's monument in Cleveland has the tunnels underneath (which I missed tickets to see this year!) i plan on doing a full Garfield video as soon as the mausoleum is done (fingers crossed soon) I appreciate your support and commenting with your added personal facts! Thank you again!

In addition to the filming location of Captain America at the dam, the site where Nick Fury’s headstone was is just down the hill from the Rockefellers. Headstone isn’t there of course, but I found where it was at by lining up some shots from the movie. Not a KZbinr, but have a short on my channel with the location.

Thanks for watching and sending the positivity! The angel very well could be, but for historic value in the video, it was titled The Angel of Death Victorious. Thanks again!
