I was up there when this was filmed and was lucky enough to meet James and Marcus out on the ice. I'm Really getting the itch to get back out on the ice!

Great show as always guys. Your ice shows are the only fishing shows I ever watch anymore as I always learn something new. Top notch anglers and show. You guys deserve a Grammy.

Green backs are one of my bucket list fish! I’m hoping to get out this summer! Love these videos!

Winnipeg is s pretty amazing destination. Not many bodies of water that can compete when it comes to kicking out 28"+ fish.

What trebles and size is James using on the #6 rippin rap. looks like he changed out both the front and the back

Does anyone know the second rod Markus Quam was using (didn’t look like a TUCR).

Thanks Kyle. Robert worked his keister off for that walleye. It was a pretty tough bite and if he had taken it easy it never would have happened. Not sure who was more happy Robert or the crew.

Amazing what swims below all that ice. Enjoyed seeing those nice walleyes coming up and going back down to make more walleye eaters.

Another great show, Congratulations Bob on that awesome Green Back! A couple videos ago I asked about the auger bit and you said its something new for next year, well after seeing it in this video it looks like it has its own built in extension system. is that correct? I'm excited for the size 6 slab raps now that I saw them. the size 5's were killer for me this season and I was hoping Rapala was going to upsize it. any idea of timeframe that they will be available?

Great episode, I'm so blessed to have lake Winnipeg in my back yard... for next year, invest in a bump board
@tonydueck78135 жыл бұрын
If you measure them that way it’s incorrect and you will get inaccurate measurements
@ironguy15 жыл бұрын
Tony Dueck pfft close enough. It’s not a tourney
@InDepthOutdoorsTV5 жыл бұрын
No kidding. Lots of insecure people in the world. We normally don't measure fish on the ice because of the time it takes. Robert had a tape in his pocket and wanted a measurement so we did the best we could without subjecting the fish to an extended amount of time out of the water needed to run back to the snow bear and get a bump board At the end of the day it was an awesome fish and if we had measured it on a bump board with three independent witnesses certifying the measurement there'd still be Jack wagons that question the length. That's just the way the internet works.

Once again great show guys! Hey, if you have some pull with Rapala you need to get them to make the glidin rap again. Best river musky bait I've ever fished, but I'm sick of paying 30$ a piece for them on ebay :) The subwalk is a decent substitute but sinks too fast.
@Mrphysics20155 жыл бұрын
tercelfish00 Have you tried breaking the lip off of a super shad rap?
@InDepthOutdoorsTV5 жыл бұрын
We've tried! They're an amazing trophy Pike bait as well. We've dropped our share of cash on glidin raps from overseas. I can't say we can expect to see them back here in the US any time soon.

@@InDepthOutdoorsTV Thanks for the reply guys. Darn, looks like I'm out of luck. Just have to save a bit and hit eBay up when I lose one.
