@13:20 James response to PJ saying "right meow" was priceless. Seems like James wasn't expecting him to say that at all hahaha. Anyways, another great video IDO. love watching your content and I'm excited to hear that Gander is helping to keep the show going throughout the year. also while I love watching the walleye, pike, lake trout (togue as we call them in Maine) I really enjoy seeing videos of different/ first time species just to break up the monotony. Would love to see the IDO crew come fish some lakes over here in the New England area. Like Lake Champlain (border of NY, VT, and Quebec) also my home body of water, Connecticut River, Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire, or Moosehead Lake or Sebago Lake in Maine.

Great news on the new fishing show James! I hope you guys can make it to Big Lake Chetac (Birchwood, WI). Named the "bluegill capital of Wisconsin", this lake has thousands of silver crappie, yellow perch, and bluegill. So many in fact, that the DNR introduced walleyes back in 2013 to try and control the panfish population. In August, that is my go to lake for all panfish. Your chances of limiting out on crappie is 25% greater than any other lake, and limiting out on bluegill is 5% greater than any other lake.

This video/show have anything to do with Larry Smith previously having a show on the Madison Chain for Catfish? Areas like you were fishing in the shallows outside of cattails, I've experienced some good multi-species bite's also especially when the Carp are in rooting up in the cattails themselves. Other species hang out on the outside edges and feed on bait from the carp rooting.

Makes me sad Minnesota doesn't allow sunfish as bait... Sometimes sheepshead work just as well though

Try not to hold them by the gill plate because they love to barrel roll. Seen people rip there gills doing that.
@davidgerdes18155 жыл бұрын
Devin Mathewson what is the best way to hold one?
@devinmathewson95645 жыл бұрын
David Gerdes hold them by the mouth and support the belly. If you don’t have tough hands might want to wear gloves.
