Lake Wylie, SC Tournament #2

Guys in today's video we are at Lake Wylie on the SC / NC border. I did catch a few fishing in the this tournament. But no win this is time. Just wanted to show you guy's that I'm still out there fishing these tournaments. I hope you like the video. Thanks for watching.

Cool videos brother. I’m from NC and i tournament fish as well. A rig, jig, crainkbait, jerkbait is all u need there.

Jamarcus Nance I tried everything you said but the A-rig. Other guys I talked to said the spinner bait was catching the big ones. But it just did not happen for me. Thanks for checking in.

Brian Novak That might have been my first or second time there. But yes it is a tough place to figure out. I was happy a caught a few fish anyway.

Nice! Beautiful boat as well. I'm hoping to fish Wylie more when I get out for summer break. I have bass fished it just a few times. I primarily catfish in wylie and crappie every now and then.

Trevor Alexander Wylie is ok but that was only my second time there. I still have not figured out that lake yet. I will figure it out one day. But thanks for the comment.

I have been fishing lake Wylie for like 3-4 years never caught a bass anyone know what to use or what you have most luck with?

Hey Bass Hunter enjoyed the video thanks ! I am no pro but love bass fishing and i live in Fort Mill SC and fish Wylie. I watch a lot of bass fishing videos on youtube as well but they are never on Wylie so this was cool. I catch most of my bass on crankbaits when i fish Wylie. If you dont mind me asking what spinnerbait do you throw ? Good luck in your next tournament.

Richard Keller I mainly throw a War Eagle 98% of the time. Buy I not getting many bits on the spinnerbait these day. I go to the chatter bait now. You need to make some video so I can watch them for Wylie. I needed the help there.

Sorry i dont make videos, but i do have success with crankbait, jigs, buzzbaits, texas rig trick worm and ole monster worms. I also have success with chatterbait on Wylie too but i use True South Custom Lures pro shimmy jig for that. I have tried a few other chatterbaits and found this one to be really good. As far as finesse i texas rig the smaller size zoom ultra vibe speed craw and drag it around. Wylie is not a grass lake and i fish shallow because i fish from bank right now but even when i had my jon boat i would only fish the banks and docks. I have skipped under docks with senkos too and caught fish. I did not have electronics on my boat so didnt try deep. I know guys that fish deeper and they usually crank the points and submerged humps and the typical schooling fish techniques. Not sure if this helps but hope so!

The plopper might have pulled a fish or two if you slowed down a little. The water is still 48 degrees. You have to keep that in mind.

FAMILY FIRST Macon, Ga. Fishing is coming around. In the next few weeks it’s going to be the best it will get all year. I haven’t see any high waters at the lakes I have been to. I need to go get some crappies.

It's the best thing going right now. I'm still trying to figure out the sizes of fish that I see on the graph. But you can see all the fish that is around you all day. I love it but still trying to figure a few things to make it work for me.
