Hi Justin, not sure if you'd still see this comment, but some advice on the grilling. I always make sure that my logs make coals and no flames in order to avoid the charred effect and make for easier cooking control. awesome videos, thank you!

Great video. The next time you cook your fish over a campfire I recommend that you take a green stick or skewer and poke it through the fish lengthwise, and place it directly on top of the hot coals. Turn them often to ensure that both sides cook evenly. With this method, it won't be more than a few minutes before your fish is flaky and ready to eat brother.

Try smoking the cats....prep just like you did there. I add a few pats of butter, lemon slices and a bay leaf and let it smoke. It's good like tuna salad too. I use it fishcakes for brunches. Its worth a try.

Hey my friend just a tip on bait you probably have never tried but works like magic on pan fish ( wasp larva) Get rid of adult wasp on nest and knock the nest down and open the little canals and get the little larvae out and have a ball my friend

When we were kids we often went camping with just our trusty zebco 33's we would scale and gut the fish like you did but to cook them we would cover them in mud and chunk m on coals. Find a green stick in a Y to use as tongs to pull m off let cool n the mud cracks off easily and ta-da got some yummy, well not crispies per say but good eating nonetheless 😉

i have an alps mountaineering lynx 2 person tent Im 6 foot and 230 lbs fits me and my gear great and is super light weight. i have camped in 25 degree weather with my 0 degree sleeping bag no issues.

Military planes have been constantly flying over everyday here in Arkansas. Thursday night several C130 cargo looking planes flew over the lake me and a friend was fishing so low we felt a mist almost as if they were spraying something. My friend freaked said we'd be sick the next day, I feel fine. 300 foot is definitely creepy low though.

I'd have to choose Bluegills. I like catfish but bluegills are sweet tasting. Bluegills through the ice have a little bit higher fat content to their meat, making them even better than open water eating. I love me some Bull-gills.
