So glad that you finally showed the knot you have been using. I have been watching you for years and always seen you do a loop de loop, twisty twist and wandered what knot that was. Adding this video to my tips. Thank LFG.

A Live-Stream would be awesome! I'm sure it's a bit more awkward for the guy being filmed than the audience, but it would be a LOT of fun and super informational for those of us watching! Also, for those of us that live about 1000 miles away, it's the closest we're going to get to ever being able to fish WITH you. Love the content...and that you include the yellows, whites, and crappie catches. Like you said..they deserve attention too. Thanks again, Justin! Keep jammin' them Hawgz, and God Bless!

jigs definitely intimidate me. but i feel like its something i definitely am going to need to work on and learn how to use properly

Practice in ponds first. Learn what the bite on a jig feels like and practice setting the hook hard and fast before you try it on a lake👍🏼

@scalnation30694 жыл бұрын
Trust me once you start catchin em on it you will always tie one on. Key to jig fishing is no grass fish slow and usually what retrieve works best for me is just hopping and then letting it sit still for around 10 seconds. Usually gets bit right on or after the hop
@colingordon59504 жыл бұрын
I am the EXACT same way. I went to a local pond and tried it to test what bites feel like. I got a couple quick ones, but I was able to recognize rock vs. bite. The practice is helping. I am dedicating myself to finesse until I get it right. Jigs are what I want to be really good at, and it won't come without practice. Keep at it! We can't fail forever!

Dude, you are on fire. I just got off the water, 16+ pound bag of Smallies, and enjoyed this drop very much. I watch every post you do, but there was something about this one that just made it special! As far as that knot goes, it reminds me of that game we used to play as kids with string and transferring it back and forth to someone else's hands. Lol. I'm really not sure where a Palomar isn't appropriate, never had one slip/break. This video was simply great! Your dedicated sub from Canada. God bless.

from 5:55 - 6:07 your graph is going crazy and the bottom is moving like you're in a ship rocking in big waves. To get rid of that you have to go into the settings and calibrate your compass, that will take care of that problem.

probly the most fun i've ever had fishing was on carolina rig in clear water at Grand Lake in OK. Smallmouth, largemouth, all day. And you would come across these little pockets where it's like every cast you get bit by somethin. The water is so clear you can see the rocks like 20 feet down. One of our family hotspots for fishing tournaments was on the side of the lake across from the main boat ramp. A ways down there are a series of docks that are legendary. I grew up on Oologah fishing tournaments - which is pretty muddy. Fishing clear water just seemed more fun.

A lot of people get nervous about lighter line but 12 pound is plenty good for bass.unless your flipping that’s when you need heavy line. World record spotted bass was caught on 6 pound test dropshotting. Check for damage retie if needed and us your drag.....lighter line catches more fish IMO..... better casting, accuracy, and action, and less visible.

Video idea: lesson on knot tying. Maybe the best 3 to 4 fishing knots you use. I have waited for you to show that knot we see you using but there’s no way I could replicate that one without a dark background or a bunch of rewinding and rewatching. Just an idea for you, take it or not. Keep up the Vid’s, stay healthy, keep casting, and god bless America🇺🇸👍🏼🤘🏼.
