Seems to me, that you should know all the codes in every place you advertise and give that information out correctly... In the end, buyer beware... Im about ready to leave Nevada...

We do check the zoning however it is up to the buyer to determine if the property is suitable for their use. It is not reasonable for anyone other than the code enforcement officer and the planning boards to know conforming uses in each town we work in.

You would need to drill a well. Electric is about 1,200 feet away. Solar would be a great option.

Q. Why is real estate in this area seem so relatively inexpensive? Are there regulatory or zoning restrictions that make it undesirable? Are the property taxes insanely high? What the hell is going on here that no one is saying anything about?

This is a northern area with not a lot of population or jobs. We do have regulations that need to be followed especially around our lakes and rivers. Taxes run from $6 to more than $30 per thousand depending on the town.

According to Luke Chiavelli, the code officer for town of Bucksport, the setback is 100 feet from the lake and the zone is LRO.

Hi James. Power is in the process of being run to within 500 to 600 feet from the property. I am sure there would be a cost to connect. Solar would be a great option with the orientation of the land.
