Thought I'd see if the American Military respected our right to photograph. I know they give American Auditors a hard time sometimes but will they be steered in the right direction by Wayne and Gavin (UK security).

@@realPromotememedia I visited Lakenheath a number of years ago I had an american friend stationed there and its UK soil but they the USAF are tenants on a UK airbase and its still British soil, if the americans left tomorrow it would revert to the RAF unless it shut down, it pays alot of mortgages in that area I have no problem with the base itself

I remember those days like yesterday. I live in Canada now thank God. I also remember back around 1980 two aqaintantances of mine (now bare in mind this is probably around 40 yrs ago) who's names I just can't recall, just drove onto that base in braod daylight and hot wired a Mustang Convertable which had been sat there for 6 months, stopped at the gatehouse and were allowed to pass. Yeah baby, those were the days! Dang, I sure wish I could remember the names of those wild crazy guys.....time seems to have taken it's toll. Peace!

I've been on that base many many times it's like stepping in to America. Years ago they would have the typical black and white police cars and I kid you not when I went to get lunch there was a dunkin donuts and outside were loads of black and white police cars just like the movies. It was all the American shops and you would pay in sterling and get change in US Dollors. To be fair it was very friendly inside.
