I am from south wales and my van was stolen and found on this travellers site , the police did not want to know and were frightened to go onto the site even the recovery company refused to go onto the site and collect it , amazing what south wales police will do when a few high profile cameras are about

This is why I have your trackers on my plant , we don't have the level of plant theft here in rural France , but if ever they go missing I know you have a good chance of finding them. The only way to stop theft in the UK is letting the criminals know they WILL be caught and prosecuted. You do good work in terms of finding the stolen goods.

There's no point in prosecuting unless you back it up with hard sentences. For theft then as a rough figure you win 10 years no parole, do it again you get 15 years etc If we don't have enough prisons build more, give each one their own self contained cell and don't let them out. If criminals are drug addicts then locking them up for 10 years will get them clean. If it costs too much to run the prisons then automate it like a factory. The only luxury would be books and maybe virtual educational classes. My prisons would have no drug problems as they'd be no visitation rights or movements to allow drugs in. How many would be willing to do another 10 year stretch for stealing a car to make a few grand..

So nice having the personal touch of a staff member going out and documenting the process, it really gives the customer peace of mind that their equipment is being hunted and action is being taken rather than some other companies that just say, Your case is in progress with no real care if the equipment is recovered or not. Along with it being part of the service and not an additional extra, I’m sure it’s taken some time to build this company and get where they are today and I can only wish you more success but it’s sure that morals, hard work and determination are all on point 😊

Have you seen the episode of police interceptors where they followed 2 stolen vehicles in to travelers site. Then they locked the gate, locking police officers in and 10 y old kids were told to smash up police vehicles with bricks which they did. And no one got arrested for the damage. Taxpayers have to pick up the bill for the written off police cars. I hope I live to see the day when we’ll have armed police in this country. Without guns no one is scared of police because all you have to do is just outrun them on foot and you’re fine.

When I saw that Tesco Extra, having worked in trades in Cardiff for 3 years, I knew exactly who it was before the officer started talking. They think they're beyond the law down there, sandwiched between Cardiff sewage works and the BOC plant is apparently a little bit of Ireland... You are lucky to have gotten a police response to that site. We've had clients lose plant to them and the police have not only refused to assist, but they've threatened hire companies with arrest for breach of the peace if they go on themselves.

It's not luck. For a professional theft recovery service where the supplier has achieved CPI Secured By Design Certification the police will attend. It's also useful to speed up this process by working with the NCATT team... "National Construction and Agricultural Theft Team" (an Independent Police Unit who deal with these sites every day)

It's all a sham to protect the criminals.. I run a very large advocate group for people who have stuff stolen. Not only are they victimized by thieves, but they see very little help with law enforcement thus victimized again . I had two brand new jet skis stolen with anti theft devices. No law enforcement would work with me to ask BRP to look at their database to see where the equipment was being serviced ..

It's great that you recovered the vehicle and the police helped you...but if the police just walk away after the recovery, where is the deterrent to the criminals? It was in the garden/lot of that first building but did they actually do anything there? Not sure if its not shown because of GDPR (understandably if so) but it felt like the job was done after the vehicle was recovered and they packed it all in and went home. The criminals will just be looking to score the next vehicle that same evening. Silver lining is that they are keeping you busy and me entertained.

If the authorities turn up they know it’s got a tracker fitted, if they come out and argue they are sort of admitting they nicked it. All they’ll do is go and Nick another one which may not have a tracker. I heard of someone in my area that had a plant trailer stolen, he knew where it’d probably be so he went round mob handed to get it back, and there it was. They admitted they’d nicked it, but as they’d stolen it to order they now demanded that as their ‘customer’ wouldn’t pay them he would have to pay them for his own trailer. Fortunately he had taken enough friends with him and following the “discussion” about payment he got his trailer back. They just see everybody’s property as their property for the taking. If it isn’t chained down they’ll have it. And if the police go looking for the culprits nobody knows who they are. If they are caught red handed in the act of stealing they just deny it, even if they are in the building or on the land and have the stolen goods with them! One of our local super markets regularly gets targeted, they go in load up a trolley then push it straight through the checkout and load it all into a van trolley included, and drive off.

trust me this is not a common thing a lad i know had his motorbike stolen he told the police where it was at a flat on my street police did nothing about 3 months late he got the bike back buy giving up on police and taking it into his own hands , reason he didn't do it straight away was he didn't want to deal with the drug runners that stole his bike. I found a stolen motobike a few months ago dumped down the bank told the police and 2 weeks later it was still there but been stripped of most the parts after 2 weeks, South wales police especially in swansea are corrupt and useless most the time

I think some of the branches that have dealt with Mtrack before know it's pretty much a guaranteed win. All they have to do is show up and close the case. But it would be great if they actually wanted to catch the thieves. I mean, you can't tell me in this day and age that you can't have some small forensic evidence kit to lift prints at the very least. You could probably get a decent result with some dust, sticky tape and a smartphone. These thieves are so brazen and so accustomed to getting away with it, I doubt they're even bothering to glove up.

@@davecooper3238 my friend was attacked with a iron pole hit in the gut, he called the police they came for a statement sec he said who it was it was suddenly a civil matter and nothing to do with the police the person that hit him was a cops brother in the same department that come to take a statement . And id put money on a metric ton of other ppl with similar experience

You mentioned issues in the valleys - for the past year, the mobile companies have been messing around with combined masts here, and switching the frequencies back-and-forth (particularly EE and Three). This is probably why you're experiencing more problems than would usually do there.

Yes, but they aren't actually gypsy really as they have irish or British blood. The gypsy race known as roma originates form india reason romanian and all the other countries that have gypsies are brown these people just adoped the lifestyle You must be from the usa but these people live in caravans and if they dont live on a site like these people they are nomads always moving like 5 caravans will show up at supermarket parking and take up the whole place and have a party burn wires for the copper, shit on the floor and levae the place full of rubbish the kids probablybthwing stones at cars..... they are hated by everyone

The police know the courts would never find them guilty, and, if it's anything like the U.S., police have been ordered to destroy evidence if if implicates the wrong people. If they really wanted to observe an area, they'd use high altitude drones with high rez cameras. The U.S. has used them in Mexico. They just sit up high and take extreme high rez still shots. They used them once to track down a hit by the cartel on some police. They could go through the photos and see exactly where the gangsters fled to. Of course, things like that are only brought to bear when it serves the gov't agenda. It's one way you can tell if you live in an occupied country or not. Does your gov't serve you? or someone else?
