Pelinka gets too much credit on trading away Westbrook- he opted for D Lo over Mike Conley, D Lo is unplayable in playoffs, Beasley was a bust- Vando one way bust- and Lakers lost a first. Everything Pelinka has done has been terrible.

The Lakers should be contacting New Orleans regarding the availability of Dejonte Murray.Murray checks several boxes. He is a borderline Allstar. He is young enough to fit with the team now and in the future He can create his own shot and okay at creating for others. He is athletic and not a bad defender. The Pelicans are bad with 3 long term salaries. Zion, Ingram and Murray This is a different situation than when Murray was with Atlanta, who was trying to improve their chances of winning by breaking the back court that was not jelling. Send both first with maybe some Protection. They don’t want Russell, but his expiring contract along with salary fillers that are expiring, will at the very least get a conversation started. The only problem I don’t see anyway Dalton K is not asked for in return. Lakers are not moving Reeves so it may be a pipe dream to get him with just Russell 2 first (with protection) and fillers I think it’s not as big of a fantasy as getting Fox.

Bron and Rich had the power to make something happen and T Lue is on record saying “if they don’t do it without you saying it, I don’t want it.” Rob deserves criticism for offering an insulting deal but he was probably expecting a negotiation.

1) AD is a better player than Fox so if that trade goes down, the kings need to throw 1 or 2 first for AD. 2) if you are the GM of the Rockets or an East Team and Fox tells you that he is NOT signing an extension with you. The question is ....would you offer 3-4 first round picks plus a package of young players. (Thank you) the answer is NO. 3) A trade for Fox is not going to make the Lakers way better, specifically if A Reeves and Max Christie are involved along with 3 first unprotected first. That would jeopardize the Lakers' future. We would become the new Sacramento kings, and that is never good.😂

I blame Lebron for the idea of the Westbrook trade and Pelinka for the execution. You completely ignore the fact Pelinka grossly overpaid for Westbrook. Westbrook's contract was widely known as the worse in the league just one year before. Lakers should've received picks from Washington for taking on that ridiculous contract.

D'Aaron Fox great as a player he is the Lakers would have to give up a lot to get him if that was a real possibility, so you would kind of gut your roster and verly have any picks left, which if you think he is the guy for years to come and you're building for the future. There's always a chance certain teams could make a deal, like if the Lakers give the King there 3 first round picks and their high picks and you're giving them Austin, and other young talent who knows but other teams like the Rockets could throw in a lot of picks and young players. You got to have the right picks and young player said team is wanting.
