Klay has completely retooled his shot since being injured. If you're a hooper or a student of the game, you see his traditional follow thru, before his injury, has been altered. Hes pulling his hands away from the ball when he shoots so much quicker. Especially on his MJ-esque fadeaways hes pulled outta his bag. Almost like hes trying to shoot faster than Steph. Hes a true master to be able to rework his shot and, it appers, to better than when he left. It seems hes more proficient post injury. Crazy.

Look man.....the REALITY is this : either the LAL don't know how to play defense...or they DON'T WANT TO. It's simple as that. Either way u slice it....this team was fkkt they day it was put together. It wasn't built to win championships...it was built to RUIN THE LAKER BRAND & REPUTATION.....and it's working perfectly. This is why u hear ZERO comments from Magic Johnson.....because he was the MAIN one who endorsed LBJ coming to LA. But, it didn't take Magic long to realize that he and the mgmt and ownership had been DECIEVED / FOOLED / HYPNOTIZED by LeBron. He wasn't what Magic thought he was. He soon saw what LBJ's REAL intentions were...and he tried to warn Jeannie Buss about LBJ. She refused to listen. LBJ had seized control of the ear and mind of Pelinka and Jeannie. Magic saw that LBJ was gonna ruin the Lakers brand and reputation....and he couldn't do anything to stop it....so he left the organization. Magic is just as much to blame for the Lakers disaster....and he KNOWS it.

Its really personal when Steph and Lebron match up, and I love every minute of it. Lebron really is trying to show that he's the greatest of all time whenever he plays Curry's warriors, because of how much respect he has for Curry's legacy himself. It's like a clash of the titans every time they meet. It's no mystery why they produce classic game after classic game.

It was an okay game. Great intensity from the players, but I thought there were way too many ticky tack fouls called. The warriors got a lot of calls in the first half, and then the Lakers got a lot in the second half. This video showed some of them. Lots of free throws shot when the defender clearly didn't commit a foul. I miss the first month of the season...

@@SSJRome that's because there was a help defender sitting on the drive. Gs packed the paint and that's why LeBron jacked up 10 3s. LeBron needs to stop worrying about Kareem's record and start playing defense and feeding AD. LeBron and AD should be spamming the pnr rather than all the stagnant iso ball LeBron has been playing to get his pts. He was balling out before lebron returned to the lineup. LeBron and Russ are the ball dominant players. It's their job to be setting him up so he is getting more than the 10-13 shots he's been getting the last 3 games and some of those shots were due to offensive rebounds.

@@SSJRome I just told you they loaded the paint and AD was barely getting fed. He only has 7 rebounds because when both teams are shooting 3s the rebounds go out past the paint a lot and lebron was grabbing all the uncontested defensive rebounds that anybody can get. Check his numbers vs nurkic capella and Embiid when LeBron was out. It's up to LeBron and Russ to get AD the ball more so he can dominate and it's up to his teammates to not stand still or sit in the lane when he's on the block allowing teams to zone in on him and double him easy.

@@yanncourtel8538 Yea there was quite a few possessions where he could've contested, but didn't. And the missed free throws. The game should've been Lakers' despite Klay's outstanding 4th. But I do wonder how much of it was because of his age. He's 37, putting up 25+ every night must be taking a toll on him. But if he doesn't put up those numbers, Lakers don't even stand a chance. They're in a bad spot either ways.

Lol @ Lakers fans who think this game somehow means their team can get better. They're 5.5 games behind the 6th seed. 27th in opponent points in the paint, 29th in opponent fast-break points, and 28th in opponent points off turnovers. Over the last 15 games they have a bottom 3 worst defensive rating in the league. But sure, they can turn that all around because they kept a game against the Warriors close. LMAO.

“Both the Lakers and Warriors decided their rosters were good enough and stayed out of the trade deadline insanity” That’s a lie, the Lakers TRIED to move Russell Westbrook but nobody wanted him! Houston would’ve taken him for John Wall but they wanted the Lakers to thrown in their 2027 1rst round draft pick and they refused. The Lakers are NOT feeling their roster is good enough but were just simply unable to make a move i.e. stuck with what they have.

COACH! NBA is super talented and athletic, and there is obviously advanced stuff going on but it seems like there are also tactical/technical blunders constantly, with stars bludging on the defensive end, not boxing out, missing back-door cuts etc. The talent and athleticism makes it super entertaining, but with all the flaws you pick up on in these videos, is this the highest level of tactical gameplay? I would love to see analysis like this but of "perfect" basketball: not necessarily athletes and snipers, but the smartest bball you can find. Where can I find the "purest" ball in this regard, and will you analyse it for us? Love your content.

Russ was guarded by a long, tall defender, he drove and took the defender out of the play and gave Lebron a wide open dunk at 3-feet away which he hesistated and took a hook shot instead. You can't complain about Westbrook turning it over and at the same time berate him for not making dangerous passes. There is no winning with these people.

I have ivy question and one observation. Q: How has Klay been defensively since he returned? I admit I don't notice that much on the defensive end unless it's a spectacular block or steal. Obs.: LeBron sent Otto Porter Jr. Our of blinds with a push to the back on the final scramble play. OPJ is acting/eggagerating, but there definitely is contact

On Klay he’s always been a good perimeter defender always guards Harden or Kyrie etc he’s quite strong so you can’t back him down on the post easily only 1 or 2 lapses in defense judgement so his consistency there is high he was there 2nd best defender behind Draymond rn that goes Wiggins but that’s not that Klay has gotten worse it’s that Wiggins got better Klay it top tier defender for example if the warriors play the Nets Klay will guard Kyrie while Dray and Wiggins would alternate guarding KD
