Tennessee fan here. Knecht had incredibly high usage at TN. He’s not a bad defender.. he was a busy offensive player. I think people are making him into a “bad” defender, but there isn’t any real reason to believe he can’t be a marginal to good defender. He’ll be a better defender than Austin (I think) with work.

Great pick, sounds like he can be a good fit. However, we still need to address our needs. We still need to upgrade Rui that can play defense and try and get a athletic PG that can put pressure on the defense. DLo simply doesn't fit nor is he a disciplined player. However, I expect Vando to replace Rui at the starting position. We also need a big body center that can play reasonable D that can take the load off of AD when needed.

Dalton is very impressive as a 3 level scorer and can help the Lakers from day 1. His size helps him play SG or SF. The only thing he must improve is his defense.

This is a good move. Whilst it hasn’t solved some clear team needs, it creates some flexibility and knock on effects. I don’t think someone who was immediately going to solve some of our needs was even available but time will tell. We can also be less precious about losing some of our more offensive players to trades.

Dude was mocked to go between 7-9 in almost every mock draft that exist. He might have some defensive concerns but I’m pretty sure Lakers got the “steal” of the 1st round. Sadly we could have also had that last year in Cam Whitmore as well, at least we didn’t make the same mistake again, I think the Lakers front office might be improving 😂

If lebron wanted to win and he already had a shit ton of money, he could sign for cheap. Dlo walks. They could sign a free agent probably have about 30 mil space. Trade for dejounte. Lebron could have terms for signing a cheap deal like getting Chris Paul if he walks and bronny in the draft . I was thinking a team like Chris Paul dejounte Paul George lebron ad, jhs Christie connect rui wood/free agent. Think that would be realistic.
