The fact that he deleted the tweet is yet another mark against him not being the GOAT. When Jordan made claims/promises/threats he delivered. No backtracking, no retractions, just winning. LeBron meanwhile has a deleted tweet (that everyone screen captured) as well as his preseason celebration in Miami where he promised, "Not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5, not 6..." championships along with saying that once they hit the floor it'll be "easy." Two wins, two losses, packs his bags and leaves again. LeBron is a great player. His stats prove that but he's not nor will he ever be the GOAT.

When things get tough for LeBron he moves on and/or tries to erase the past. Yeah, he brought a chip to Cleveland but in order to wash off the stink of getting beat three times by the same team he had to pack his bags and move to L.A. so he could start a new chapter. Again, this is why he'll never be the GOAT and honestly I'd probably put Curry over LeBron in my top 10 (if he even makes my top 10).

Id honestly go as far and say that russel is barely a good addition at any point in his career to win the playoffs. He is a great player and especially was in his prime, he could make a bad team good. But I dont think he can help a team that wants to be great much. He never was very efficiant, and always had a high usage value, his defense was better, maybe even really good, but never amazing. He could never space for teammates, and this overall leads to a problem, namely the fact that he has to be your main guy. He cant play offball. Do you really want him as your main guy, even at his prime? I dont think so. I mean, its not impossible for him to win a championship in hsi prime, but there are a bunch of players youd rather build around. 2017 Melo was also already washed, he wasnt even really better then 2021 melo offensviely really. He was much better on defense though, so I guess hed be a fine role player.

biggest things i noticed besides missed shots: •westbrook didn’t look like his old self (scoring and passing wise) •miscommunication (especially between russ and ad) it seems that westbrook never really developed chemistry with the team or with ad cause every time he passed to him ad wasn’t paying attention, also westbrook’s passes were always too high and inaccurate

Russ has always had these shooting problems, but he makes up for it in volume. For miscommunication, I’ll agree to that with AD. But he also just tries to lob it for the easy alley oop and get an assist. Russ also is falling asleep way too much on off ball defense
